This well-respected, Tax and MOT exempt, 1981 Honda CM400A Hondamatic has recently been imported from North America where its spent all its life.
It appears to have a few bits missing; igntiion key and LH mirror being the most obvious. We also noted that; the seat cover is torn, there are a few scratches on the rear wheel rim and the paintwork is slightly faded.
The wheels are straight.
Forks look straight and chrome is bright.
Headlight bowl, rim and lens look ok.
Instruments look ok and switches move freely.
Tailight and indicators are good.
Chainguard is straight and bright.
Exhausts are solid with good chrome.
Mudguards are straight and bright.
When we hooked it up to a good battery and fed fresh fuel through the carb we had it firing, running and revving but its obvious the carb will need some attention.
